Monthly Power Trading Results November 2024
Amsterdam, Berlin, Bern, Brussels, London, Paris, Vienna, 3 December 2024.
- A total volume of 73.5 TWh was traded on EPEX SPOT markets in November 2024 (November 2023: 62.6 TWh).
EPEX Day-Ahead™
- Power trading on the Day-Ahead markets on EPEX SPOT accounted for 54,847.4 GWh (November 2023: 46,947.4 GWh).
EPEX Intraday™
- On the EPEX SPOT Intraday markets, a total volume of 18,603.3 GWh was traded (November 2023: 15,633.9 GWh).
- The Intraday market has reached a new record traded volume in continuous in Austria, Finland and Poland.
- The coupled SIDC Intraday Auctions reached an aggregated volume of 1,678.7 GWh.
EPEX Origin™
- In November 2024, 148.7 GWh were traded on the monthly auction for Guarantees of Origin.
EPEX Capacity™
- Since the beginning of 2024, 33.2 GW were traded on the French Capacity Market.
EPEX SPOT submitted its response to the ACER consultation on the Network Code Demand Response. Moreover, the European Power Exchange compiled all information relevant to the launch of 15-minute contracts in SIDC and SDAC markets in 2025 a dedicated website.

For continuous trading, the aggregated sell & buy volume is divided by 2.
